The table below indicates the values for test results from Midwest Labs, plus calculated values for components in a formula mixed at a ratio of 1:2 with water using WildAgain's nutrition calculator. The table below indicates the primary ingredients for the lot number indicated.

Primary ingredients

Animal fat (preserved with BHA and citric acid), casein, dicalcium phosphate, condensed whey, vegetable oil.

Secondary ingredients Calcium carbonate, lethithin, potassium chloride, choline chloride, magnesium sulfate, vitamin E supplement, vitamin A supplement, zinc methionine, ferrous sulfate, calcium pantothenate, vitamin B12 supplement, niacin supplement, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, vitamin D supplement, riboflavin, thiamine mononitrate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, menadione sodium bisulfite, complex folic acid, calcium iodate, biotin, sodium selenite, mono and diglycerides.

 

Solubility Test (what's this?)

As a high fat content additive, this product, just like Fox Valley's® UltraBoost, did not perform well in the solubility tests for either water temperature or either hydration time. However the longer hydration time did result in more of the powder being reconstituted, but still produced a hard cap or seal of unwetted powder at the top of the cylinder after 30 minutes.

Figure 1. When mixed with 125°F water for immediate use, very little rehydration of the powder was observed. The degree of hydration did improve with the use of hotter water and longer hydration time, especially the cylinder on the far right. Figure 2. The easy visibility through the cylinder on the left to the blue background results from very little coating of the wall of the cylinder, indicating a low degree of rehydration of the product. The other cylinders were somewhat improved.

 

Physical characteristics

The texture of this product was very uneven and inconsistent. This resulted in measurement error described below. (The expected error shown below is equal to 1 standard deviation (statistically 68% of all measurements should fall within this range)).
